The redesigned 2024-and-newer Polaris RZR XP 1000 is quick, and at speed every bug, raindrop and clump of mud off the front tires heads straight for the driver. This Full Windshield closes off the front of the cab with a single panel of 1/4-inch polycarbonate cut to the new RZR XP hood and cage, so you ride behind a clear shield instead of squinting through goggles.
Highlights
- Full-height panel that blocks wind, rain, mud, bugs and trail debris
- 1/4" polycarbonate: about 250 times stronger than glass and 25 times stronger than acrylic
- Cut to the contours of the 2024+ RZR XP cage and hood
- Full-length rubber bulb seal for a quiet, rattle-free fit
- Heavy-duty clamps that keep it from shifting on rough ground
- Optional XR Optic hard coating for scratch and UV resistance
- All mounting hardware included; made in the USA; 1-year manufacturer warranty
Choose Your Material
| Option | Best for |
|---|---|
| Standard Polycarbonate - Clear | The lowest-cost way to close off the front of the cab; easy to keep clear with gentle cleaning |
| Scratch Resistant Polycarbonate - Clear | Dusty or sandy riding, wiper use and anyone who wants the panel to stay clear for years |
| Scratch Resistant Polycarbonate - Light Tint | Bright sun and snow glare, with the same hard coat on the panel |
The scratch-resistant versions use XR Optic, a hard coating that makes the surface far tougher against scuffs and abrasion and adds UV protection, so the panel won't yellow or fade after seasons of sun.
Why Polycarbonate
A windshield on a UTV has to survive branches, flying rocks and, in a bad moment, a rollover. Polycarbonate flexes and absorbs those hits where glass would shatter and acrylic would crack. At a full 1/4 inch thick, this panel stays stiff at highway-style speeds and won't flutter or bow in the wind. It is also far lighter than a glass windshield, which keeps weight off the cage.
Fit That Stays Quiet
The panel is precision cut to the 2024+ hood line, and the full-length bulb seal fills the gap between hood and windshield so air, dust and water can't whistle through. The clamps bite firmly on the cage tubes, and once they're tightened the windshield stays put over whoops, washboard roads and rocky climbs. No rattles, no slow creep down the cage.
Full or Flip?
- Full windshield (this one): set-and-forget coverage, the most dust control and the best match for wipers, heaters and defrosters
- Flip windshield: switches between closed, vented and open, handy when conditions change during a ride, with a few more seals and hinges to look after
If you mostly ride in cold, wet or dusty weather, or spend time on road sections, a full windshield is the simplest and quietest choice.

Who It's For and What Pairs Well
For 2024+ RZR XP 1000 and XP 4 1000 owners who ride year-round, hunt in the cold or simply want the dust and bugs out of their face. With a closed front, add a rear windshield from our 2024+ RZR XP windshields to stop dust from being pulled into the cab, and consider a cab heater from RZR XP 1000 2024+ interior accessories or doors from 2024+ RZR XP doors for a fully closed cab.

Installation Notes
This is a bolt-on install that most owners finish in well under an hour with basic hand tools. Set the panel on the hood, center it, then snug the clamps evenly side to side before the final tightening. Peel the protective film only after it's mounted, and clean polycarbonate with plenty of water, a microfiber cloth and a plastic-safe cleaner, never ammonia-based glass cleaner.
