Broken axles are one of the most common ways a 2024+ Polaris RZR XP 1000 ends a ride early, especially with bigger tires or a heavy right foot. Replacing a failed axle with another factory part just resets the clock. This Rhino 2.0 Heavy-Duty Axle is nearly twice as strong as stock, with a larger shaft, end-to-end 4340 chromoly construction and CV joints designed to run cool at steep angles.
Highlights
- Nearly 2 times stronger than stock
- 4340 chromoly steel with proprietary heat treatment
- Massive increase in shaft size
- Larger CV components that run at high articulation angles and stay cooler
- Field and lab tested for strength and endurance
- Sold individually: choose front or rear
- 18-month manufacturer warranty
Where Axles Fail, and How This One Doesn't
The CV joint is the weak point on almost every UTV axle. When the suspension cycles and the steering turns, the CV runs at an angle, builds heat and wears out or breaks. Rhino 2.0 CVs are built for high articulation angles and run cooler under that stress. Combined with a thicker chromoly shaft and a heat treatment developed for this axle, the result is a part that handles hard launches, big tires and deep mud far better than stock.
The Rhino 2.0 Formula
- A large increase in shaft size
- End-to-end 4340 chromoly construction
- Proprietary heat treatment
Designed, Tested, Proven
The axle was designed in CAD and then tested in the lab and on the trail, with design changes made until it met the strength and durability targets. That testing is why it carries an 18-month warranty, well beyond what most aftermarket axles offer.
Front or Rear
Use the Axle Location picker to choose a front or rear axle. Both are the same price. Many owners replace both axles on an end at once, or carry a spare in the bed for long trips.
Signs an Axle Is on Its Way Out
- Clicking or popping when turning under power
- Torn CV boots throwing grease onto the A-arms
- Vibration that gets worse with speed
- Clunking on takeoff or when shifting between forward and reverse
Catching a torn boot early and replacing the axle with a stronger one is a lot easier than a trailside repair after it breaks.
What's in the Box
- (1) Rhino 2.0 heavy-duty axle, front or rear as selected
Who It's For and What Pairs Well
For 2024+ RZR XP and XP 4 owners on stock-length suspension running larger tires or riding hard. If you're installing a long travel kit, choose the long travel axles in 2024+ RZR XP axles instead. A clutch kit from RZR XP 1000 2024+ clutch and transmission helps the machine pull bigger tires.

Installation Notes
This is a direct replacement for the stock-length axle. Support the machine, remove the wheel and hub nut, separate the lower ball joint or knuckle as needed, and swap the axle. Torque the hub nut to factory spec.
