Stock tie rods on the 2024+ Polaris RZR XP 1000 are fine with stock tires on easy trails. Add bigger tires, a lift or aggressive driving and they bend, and a bent tie rod means a toed-out wheel and a slow limp home. This Heavy-Duty Steel Bar Tie Rod Kit replaces them with 1-inch solid steel bars and hardened 3/4-inch heim joint ends that won't fold under pressure.
Highlights
- 1" solid steel bar tie rods for maximum strength
- Hardened heim joint outer ends
- Rebuildable inner ball-and-socket joints
- 3/4" diameter inner and outer threads reinforce common failure points
- Stock length replacement
- Toe adjusts without disassembly
- Tie rods backed by a lifetime manufacturer warranty
Solid Bar Strength
A tube tie rod can buckle when a tire hits a rock at the wrong angle. A solid 1-inch steel bar has no hollow center to collapse, so it resists bending under side loads from big tires and hard landings. The 3/4-inch threads are much larger than the stock threads, which is exactly where factory tie rods tend to snap.
Joints Built for Abuse
Outer heim joints are hardened to take repeated hits, and the inner ball-and-socket joints are rebuildable, so you can service them rather than replacing the whole assembly when they eventually wear.
Easy Alignment
The kit is stock length, so it installs without changing steering geometry. Toe adjustment is quick and doesn't require removing anything, so you can dial it in after install or after a trail repair.

Installation Notes
Swap one side at a time so you can match the new tie rod's length to the old one as a starting point. Use the included thread locker where specified, torque all fasteners, and have the toe checked or set it yourself with a tape or string line before riding.
