The wide suspension on a Polaris RZR XP Turbo S lets you keep the throttle pinned through rough terrain, and once you add bigger tires, the ball joints carry a lot more load. Mega Keller Ball Joints are the strongest option in the Keller line: oversized tool-steel housings, massive studs and a two-piece threaded design that won't push out. They're for riders who need strength above everything else.
Highlights
- Maximized studs and housings for industry-leading strength
- 4340 hardened chromoly steel construction
- Two-piece threaded design with no snap ring
- Adjustable, rebuildable and greaseable
- Robust boot retaining ring keeps water out
- Sold as 1, 2 or 4 ball joints
Bigger Is Stronger
Mega ball joints use larger housings made from durable tool steel, which make room for oversized studs. The studs neck down less than competing designs and carry a massive ball, so there's more steel where ball joints usually break. That size is also why the A-arms must be modified to accept them.
Threaded So It Can't Push Out
Keller ball joints were the first threaded ball joints on the market. The joint presses into the A-arm from one side and the housing threads on from the other, like a nut on a bolt. With no snap ring to fail, there's nothing to let the joint walk out under hard hits.
Built to Last for Years
Hardened chromoly from top to bottom handles heat and shock, and because the joints are adjustable and greaseable, you can take up wear and keep them feeling new. When it's eventually time, they're rebuildable instead of disposable.
Mega vs. Standard Keller
Standard Keller joints install in stock-size bores and suit most lifted machines. Mega joints need A-arm modification but deliver the most strength available, best for big lifts, very large tires and racing.
Fitment Notes
- Mega ball joints require modification of your A-arms
Care Tips
Grease the joints after wash days and water crossings to push out moisture, and check the adjustment periodically. A quick snug-up keeps them tight and quiet.
What's in the Box
- Mega Keller ball joint(s) in your chosen quantity: 1, 2 or 4
Who It's For and What Pairs Well
For heavily modified Turbo S builds that keep breaking ball joints. Pair them with high-clearance arms from RZR Turbo S A-arms and stronger axles from RZR Turbo S axles.
Fitment
| Year | Make | Model |
|---|---|---|
| 2018-2021 | Polaris | RZR XP Turbo S |
| 2019-2021 | Polaris | RZR XP 4 Turbo S |
Note: Mega ball joints require modification of your A-arms
Installation Notes
The A-arm bore must be modified to fit the larger housing, so this is a job for an experienced mechanic or machine shop. Press the joint in, thread the housing on the back, torque to spec and grease before riding.
