The weak spot of the factory ball joint on a Polaris RZR XP 1000 is the snap ring that holds it in the A-arm. Load it up with a lift and big tires, and the joint can push right past it. Keller ball joints fix that design: the joint presses into the arm and a threaded chromoly housing screws onto it, so it can't be pushed through. Todd Keller's original two-piece design was the first threaded ball joint on the market, and it's still the standard for joints that won't pull out. They fit the XP 1000 and XP 4 1000, including High Lifter and Trails & Rocks editions.
Highlights
- 4340 hardened chromoly steel construction
- Two-piece threaded design, no snap ring required
- Easily adjustable, rebuildable and greaseable
- Robust boot retaining ring prevents water intrusion
Keller Ball Joints Fix What's Broke
Instead of using a snap ring to hold the joint, Keller uses a threaded chromoly housing that can't be pushed through no matter what. If you ride with a lift and big tires, these will outlast just about any other ball joint out there.
Durability That Lasts
The joint presses into the A-arm, and then the housing threads onto it, creating a nearly unbreakable assembly. Hardened chromoly housings and studs make it rock solid, and because the joints are adjustable and greaseable, you can keep them smooth for years. When they eventually wear, they can be rebuilt.
Who Needs Them?
If you've ever worn out or broken a ball joint, you'll save time and money by upgrading. If you haven't yet, upgrading keeps it from happening. Without a weak OEM-style snap ring, these handle a loaded machine better, and they're perfect for riders who want less time in the garage and more time wheeling hard on big tires.

Who It's For and What Pairs Well
These are for lifted RZRs, big-tire builds and anyone tired of replacing ball joints. Want the biggest joint available? The Mega Keller version is in RZR XP 1000 suspension parts (4-seat: RZR XP 4 1000 suspension parts), though it requires A-arm modification. Pair them with new bushings from RZR XP 1000 A-arms and bushings and heavy-duty tie rods from RZR XP 1000 steering parts.
