Textron Stampede Viper V3 Winch Kit - 4,500 or 6,000 lb with Mount Plate & Wireless Remote (2017-2019)

The Textron Stampede is a full-size work machine with a big bed and a strong engine, which makes a front winch a natural add-on. This kit pairs the Viper MA11964 Stampede winch and fairlead mount plate with a Viper V3 winch. The plate is set up for the wide pattern, so the 6,000 lb wide spool bolts straight on, and the 4,500 lb option comes with the MA11225 converter it needs.

4,500 or 6,000 lb?

• V3 4,500 standard spool: lighter and shorter, with 40 ft of rope. Plenty for self-recovery and lifting a Denali plow on most machines.
• V3 6,000 wide spool: adds $80, a wider drum and 60 ft of rope. A good pick for heavier machines, crew cabs with a loaded bed, or anyone who winches other people out.

Stampede Notes

• The Stampede is a heavy machine. The 6,000 lb wide spool is the better pick if you pull trailers or other machines.
• With a loaded bed, unload what you can before a hard pull.
• Check the plate bolts after the first few pulls and re-torque if needed.

Fitment

Note: Moto Alliance says the MA11225 wide-to-narrow spool converter is needed to run a standard-pattern winch on the Stampede. It is included with the 4,500 lb option, so either choice is complete.

Installation Notes

Bolt the MA11964 plate to the Stampede with the included hardware. With the 4,500 lb option, fit the MA11225 converter to the plate first, then mount the winch. Moto Alliance did not post a PDF for this plate, so follow the instructions packed with it. Route the power leads to the battery clear of heat and moving parts.
