The Yamaha Rhino earned its reputation on trails, ranches and hunting land, and plenty of them are still running strong. This kit pairs the Viper MA11924 Rhino mount plate with a Viper V3 winch, so a Rhino owner can add self-recovery in one order. The plate takes both bolt patterns: choose the 4,500 lb standard spool or the 6,000 lb wide spool.

4,500 or 6,000 lb?
- V3 4,500 standard spool: lighter and shorter, with 40 ft of rope. Plenty for self-recovery and lifting a Denali plow on most machines.
- V3 6,000 wide spool: adds $80, a wider drum and 60 ft of rope. A good pick for heavier machines, crew cabs with a loaded bed, or anyone who winches other people out.
Rhino Owner Notes
- Rhinos are often a decade or more old now. Check the battery and charging output before relying on a winch.
- The Rhino sits narrow and tall, so on side hills keep the winch line as straight as you can.
- Pack a tree strap, a shackle and gloves under the seat so the winch always has an anchor kit.
- Run the engine while winching to keep voltage up.

Installation Notes
Use the MA11924 PDF below to bolt the plate to the Rhino frame with the included hardware. Mount the contactor where it stays dry, route the leads to the battery under the seat area, and keep them clear of moving suspension parts. Re-spool the rope under light load after the first test.
