If you keep steering around rocks and stumps while your buddies drive straight over them, your stock A-arms are holding you back. These High Clearance Front A-Arms for the Polaris RZR XP Turbo S use a clever bend to add 1.5 inches of ground clearance, oversized 1.25-inch steel tubing that's 25% larger than stock, and adjustable pivot blocks so you can set camber when you add a lift or bigger tires. They keep factory geometry, so steering feel and suspension travel stay right.
Highlights
- Bend design adds 1.5" of ground clearance
- 1.25" tubing, 25% larger than stock
- Adjustable pivot blocks for full camber adjustment, set to stock spec out of the box
- Factory geometry keeps steering performance and suspension travel
- Uses stock A-arm bushings
- UV-resistant powder coat finish
- Vehicle-specific fit for an easy, secure install
- Lifetime A-arm warranty from the manufacturer
- Optional free pre-installed ball joints in four strength levels
Clear More, Hang Up Less
Rock gardens, downed logs and random stumps are always trying to grab the lowest point of your front suspension. On a stock RZR XP Turbo S that's the lower A-arm. The bend in these arms lifts that low point by 1.5 inches, so obstacles that used to stop you or crunch your arms now slide underneath. That extra clearance comes without a lift kit and without changing ride height, so the machine handles the way you're used to.
Bigger Tubing, More Strength
The 1.25-inch steel tubing is 25% larger than the factory arms, and you can see the difference the moment you open the box. Larger tubing and quality steel resist bending when you clip a rock at speed, and the sleek tubed design looks great on the machine. The arms are covered by a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer, which tells you how confident they are in the strength.
Adjustable Pivot Blocks
Industry-leading adjustable pivot blocks let you dial in camber. They ship set to stock specification, so you don't have to touch them on a stock machine. Add a lift kit, bigger tires or a heavy cab enclosure, though, and camber changes, which wears tires unevenly. With the blocks you can bring it back to spec and keep tires wearing evenly for longer.
Why Camber Matters
Camber is the inward or outward tilt of the tire viewed from the front. Too much either way puts the load on one edge of the tread, wears the tire early and can make steering feel vague. Being able to adjust it is especially useful after any suspension or tire size change.
Free Ball Joint Pre-Installation
Order the arms with a set of ball joints and they arrive with the joints already pressed in at no extra labor charge, which saves you a press, a few hours and the hassle of fighting stubborn old joints. If you choose "I will do the work myself and reuse existing," the arms ship bare and you must reuse your stock ball joints.
Your Ball Joint Choices
Super Duty 300M
300M grade steel is the strongest ball joint material available. Combined with a stud design that narrows very little at the neck, it delivers a joint about 2.25 times stronger than stock. It's adjustable and has an easy-to-reach grease zerk, so you can keep it tight and lubricated for years. Pick this for big tires, jumps and hard-hitting desert or rock riding.
Heavy-Duty 4340 Chromoly Steel
Hardened 4340 VAR steel with zinc plating, plus a grease zerk and adjustable housing. In lab and field testing these joints withstood double the pressure of an OEM ball joint, which makes them a solid choice for aggressive trail riding, hill chasing and the occasional big air.
Standard Duty
OEM quality without the OEM price. Hardened chromoly studs and housings, all zinc plated, give you a joint that's as strong as or stronger than stock. A good value pick for stock-height trail machines.
Keller Performance
Keller's two-piece design threads together through the A-arm like a nut and bolt, so there's no snap ring to fail and the joint is virtually impossible to pull out. A chromoly stud in a tool-steel body handles bigger machines and bigger tires, and the joints are greaseable and rebuildable. Note: Keller ball joints do not fit 2020-2021 four-seat models.
Comparing Turbo S Front A-Arm Options
| Arm | Extra clearance | Forward offset | Max tire (manufacturer) | Construction |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| High Clearance | 1.5" | None | Not specified | 1.25" round tubing |
| High Clearance 1.5" Offset | 1.5" | 1.5" | 36" | Oversized round tubing |
| Sidewinder | 1.5" | 1.5" | 38" | Boxed 1/8" alloy steel plate |
Which Ball Joint Should You Pick?
| Riding style | Suggested choice |
|---|---|
| Stock tires, relaxed trail riding | Reuse stock or Standard Duty (where offered) |
| Bigger tires, aggressive trails | Heavy-Duty 4340 |
| Jumps, desert speed, rocks | Super Duty 300M |
| Want zero chance of pull-out and a rebuildable joint | Keller Performance (check the fitment note) |
New arms are the best time to upgrade ball joints, because the old joints are already coming out and pre-installation is free. Reusing worn stock joints in brand-new arms is a common source of front-end clunks later.
Keeping Them in Shape
After muddy or wet rides, rinse the arms and grease the ball joints to push out water and grit. Check pivot bolt torque and look at the bushings for play every few rides, especially after hard hits. The powder coat resists UV fading, and touching up any deep rock chips keeps the steel protected for the long run. A quick look at camber after any new lift or tire change keeps tire wear even.
Fitment Notes
- Keller ball joints do NOT fit 2020-2021 4-seat models
- If you don't choose pre-installed ball joints, you must reuse your stock ball joints
What's in the Box
- High clearance front A-arms (upper and lower, left and right)
- Adjustable pivot blocks
- Ball joints pre-installed if selected
Who It's For and What Pairs Well
For Turbo S trail riders who want more clearance and stronger arms without the cost of a long travel kit. Pair them with heavier-duty axles from RZR Turbo S axles, rear arms from RZR Turbo S radius arms, and a matching front bumper from RZR Turbo S bumpers. Want a longer wheelbase for bigger tires? Compare the 1.5" forward offset arms in RZR Turbo S A-arms.
Fitment
| Year | Make | Model |
|---|---|---|
| 2018-2021 | Polaris | RZR XP Turbo S |
| 2019-2021 | Polaris | RZR XP 4 Turbo S |
Note: Keller Ball Joints do NOT fit 2020-2021 4 seat models.
Installation Notes
Support the machine, remove the wheels, shocks and knuckle connections, unbolt the stock arms and transfer the bushings. Install the new arms, reconnect everything and torque to factory spec. Check alignment afterward. If you skip the pre-installed option, press your stock ball joints into the new arms.
