Sidewinder A-Arms are for Polaris RZR XP Turbo S owners who want a front end that will never be mistaken for stock. The tapered, boxed design is built from 1/8-inch advanced alloy steel plate, adds 1.5 inches of ground clearance, and moves the wheels 1.5 inches forward so you can run up to 38-inch tires with no lift kit. They look as at home at a desert race as they do on a show build.

Your Ticket to Monster Tires
The 1.5-inch forward offset gives the tire room to move without hitting the body and frame, so 38-inch tires fit without a lift kit. Bigger tires also raise the machine, adding to the 1.5 inches of clearance the arm shape already provides. Trails that stop other machines won't faze your Turbo S.
Stability on Steep and Rough Ground
Moving the front wheels forward lengthens the wheelbase. A longer machine is more planted on steep climbs and descents and stays smoother as the trail gets rougher. You get more tire, more clearance and more stability at the same time.
Boxed for Toughness
Boxed A-arms are formed from plate steel and welded into a closed shape, which makes them very stiff and resistant to bending from hard hits. The tapered profile keeps the arm low and sleek while adding clearance. They were tested in the lab and in the field, and the UV-resistant powder coat is made to keep them looking good after many thousands of hard miles.
Adjustable Pivot Blocks
An adjustable upper pivot block lets you fine-tune camber. It comes preset to stock spec so a stock machine is ready to ride, and when you add a lift, bigger tires or heavy accessories, you can correct camber and prevent premature tire wear. Adjustability matters most on modified machines, and these arms are built for them.
Free Ball Joint Pre-Installation
Choose a ball joint upgrade at checkout and the Sidewinders show up with the joints installed free, ready to bolt on. Selecting "I will do the work myself and reuse existing" means the arms ship without joints and your factory ball joints get transferred over.
Your Ball Joint Choices
Super Duty 300M
The strongest choice here: 300M grade steel engineered into a joint about 2.25 times stronger than stock, with a reachable grease zerk and adjustable steel-on-steel design. If you're bolting on 38s, this is the joint to match them.
Heavy-Duty 4340 Chromoly Steel
A proprietary blend of hardened 4340 VAR steel with zinc plating, tested to handle double the pressure of a factory joint. Grease zerk and adjustable design included. Built for riders who chase hills and catch air.
Keller Performance
Threaded two-piece joints with no snap ring, a chromoly stud and a tool-steel body. They're greaseable and rebuildable. Check the year first: Keller joints do not fit 2021 models.
Comparing Turbo S Front A-Arm Options
| Arm | Extra clearance | Forward offset | Max tire (manufacturer) | Construction |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| High Clearance | 1.5" | None | Not specified | 1.25" round tubing |
| High Clearance 1.5" Offset | 1.5" | 1.5" | 36" | Oversized round tubing |
| Sidewinder | 1.5" | 1.5" | 38" | Boxed 1/8" alloy steel plate |
Which Ball Joint Should You Pick?
| Riding style | Suggested choice |
|---|---|
| Stock tires, relaxed trail riding | Reuse stock or Standard Duty (where offered) |
| Bigger tires, aggressive trails | Heavy-Duty 4340 |
| Jumps, desert speed, rocks | Super Duty 300M |
| Want zero chance of pull-out and a rebuildable joint | Keller Performance (check the fitment note) |
Since the factory joints have to come out anyway and installation is included, upgrading now costs only the parts. Putting tired stock joints into fresh Sidewinders tends to bring the clunks right back.
Before You Run 38s
Very large tires add weight and leverage throughout the machine. Plan on stronger axles, a clutch recalibration to restore acceleration, and extra steering assist. Check that your wheel offset and backspacing keep the tire clear of the arms at full lock.
Ownership Tips
Grease the ball joints after wet rides, check the pivot hardware and bushings for play every few outings, and inspect the welds and gussets after any big impact. Because the boxed shape is closed, rinse mud out of the mounting areas so it doesn't trap moisture. Re-check camber after adding a cab enclosure, a lift or a new tire size so the tires keep wearing evenly across the tread.
Show Looks That Hold Up
Most aftermarket parts blend in. The tapered Sidewinder shape is the kind of part people walk over to look at, which is why you'll see this style on race machines and show builds alike. The difference is that the looks are backed by boxed construction, field and lab testing, and a lifetime warranty, so you can actually ride them hard instead of keeping them pristine in the garage.
Fitment Notes
- Keller ball joints do not fit 2021 models
- Bushings are not included; reuse your OEM bushings or add aftermarket bushings
- If you don't choose pre-installed ball joints, you must reuse your stock ball joints
What's in the Box
- Sidewinder front A-arms (upper and lower, left and right)
- Adjustable upper pivot blocks
- Ball joints pre-installed if selected
Who It's For and What Pairs Well
For big-tire and show-quality Turbo S builds that need strength and style. 38-inch tires put a lot more load on the drivetrain and steering, so pair these arms with parts from RZR Turbo S axles and power steering from RZR Turbo S steering parts. Finish the front with a bumper from RZR Turbo S bumpers.
Fitment
| Year | Make | Model |
|---|---|---|
| 2018-2021 | Polaris | RZR XP Turbo S |
| 2019-2021 | Polaris | RZR XP 4 Turbo S |
Note: Keller ball joints do not fit 2021 models
Installation Notes
Remove the wheels, shocks, knuckle connections and stock arms, install bushings in the new arms and bolt them up. Torque to factory spec, check steering lock and tire clearance, and get an alignment before your first ride. Two instruction documents are linked below.
